As part of our contribution to National Bullying Prevention Month, we are pleased to partner with the Southwest Schools to help stamp out bullying once and for all.

Principals Armwood and Mercado-Garza selected a few students from their respective campuses (Phoenix School at Southwest Schools and Southwest Middle & High School) to share their experiences as a victim, offender and/or bystander of bullying.

The students met with the recording crew and were asked a few questions to determine what stories they were comfortable with sharing. This led to some of the most genuine discussions, as to how bullying impacted their lives and the choices that they made in and out of school.  The recording is a preview of some of their stories of struggle.
This video may serve as a support to families and school personnel who may not always understand the impact that bullying has on individuals, and as a result may not move into action soon enough.

It is our hope that this message will promote awareness and propel students into action to stop, prevent and report bullying.
